Was founded in 1978 under the name of CAMTAD. It’s mission is to reduce the impact of hearing loss on people’s lives across Cambridgeshire.
The dedicated team of 6 part-time staff and 115+ volunteers provide a range of services/activities to approximately 6,000 people with hearing loss, and their family and friends, each year

Hearing Help Essex is a charity based in Chelmsford and cover Chelmsford, Braintree, Maldon, Uttlesford and their surrounding areas. It offers:-
Help Support & Guidance for those with hearing loss
quarter of a million people in Essex have some degree of hearing loss, nationally that amounts to one in six of the population. Hearing Help Essex exists to alleviate the isolation and loneliness that hearing loss can bring. Our services include:

- Information, Advice & Guidance
- Assistive Equipment Demo & Loan
- Hearing Loss Seminars & Training
- Drop in sessions and events
- Signposting to other organisations
