There are many national and local organisations offering advice and support to those with hearing loss. Some of them have helplines.
A good example of these is Action for Hearing Loss.
Action for Hearing Loss works hard to help all those with hearing loss and is currently campaigning for more lipreading classes across the country. It is a very worthy cause.
